Your Clothes is My Business :)

Bubbly N’ Joy Laundry Shop – Oh yes! My dream has finally come true. I am now, together with mom and dad, the proud owners of a cute laundry shop located in Trece Martires, Cavite. It’s been a dream of mine to be an entrepreneur. Though, I started out as a netpreneur with my little online lotion and bath shop here, it still feels great and proud to be able to have a tangeable business you can call your own. – Now you know why I haven’t been blogging for ages due to busy days.

Actually, we just bought this shop from a young girl who’s like a year younger than I am (23 years old, can you imagine?!). Since we wanted to save on cost, and given that her shop are all well in place, we just decided to simply adopt the name of the business. Changing it would mean headaches in the DTI and BIR procedures. All in all it cost us just about P150, 000 to buy out the biz.

Mom and I thought of a nice slogan, something that’ll match the re-boosting of the business. So we thought, why not tell people that “their clothes is our business!”. With that we came up with a 1-day laundry service promo, plus free membership discount cards for loyal customers to take advantage of.

Right now, we are still doing the best efforts for marketing. The business is well set up – no problem with that. Just a little honing of our processes to make it more efficient, plus of course marketing – the key to having a larger customer base.

As for customer retention, the comment box is open for everyone willing to give feedback and suggestions. We believe that great customer service (in guerilla marketing) is the key to have loyal people coming back to have their clothes washed (oh yes, and folded – and – pressed! haha!)

If ever you decide to live in Cavite… or just willing to visit the town, don’t forget to pay a visit to my humble little laundry shop – Bubble N’ Joy.

* I praise God for blessing us beyond our aspirations. I return all the glory to Him 🙂

  2. Thanks friend! I’m sure you’ll have even more, and bigger blessings to come for you and your family 🙂

  3. Perhaps you can talk to owners of businesses like hotels and restaurants that need laundry services to expand your client base.

Wish you all the luck in your new business.

Can’t wait to visit your shop, just not sure when I will be in Trece Martires. 🙂

  4. Hi sir Jon!
We’ve been doing that now, but we’re seeing people wanting to just take advantage of us… unfair deals, terms that shouldn’t be present in the first place, and sometimes asking for a very low price… It’s a good thing people are attending parties and wedding so we have dry cleaning services everyday 🙂

Hi Rom! OMG! I can just imagine how busy you are. Ang dami mong side jobs!
Anyway, halos lahat ng dry cleaning shops here also do tailoring and repairs like missing buttons, etc.

    Wishing you the best!
